Our Broker, Scott, has been a Realtor® since 1990. He holds the “GRI” designation (Graduate of the Realtor® Institute) from the National Association of Realtors® (NAR). He's been an active volunteer for the Boise Regional Realtors® (BRR) since 1990, and served on virtually every one of their committees. For his long time service and dedication he was honored as their “Realtor® Of The Year”.

He’s also a recipient of the Boise Regional Realtors® “Distinguished Service Award” and member of both BRR'S and the Idaho Realtors® (IR) “Honor Society”.

In addition to being elected the West District Vice-President for the Idaho Realtors®, he also chaired the IR's State Legislative Committee and Convention Committee.

A supporter of the “Realtors® Political Action Committee” (RPAC) since he became a Realtor®, he's contributed some very special things to the RPAC fund raising functions over the years.

Scott’s was elected as a State Director for the Idaho Realtors® and is a past chairman of Boise Regional Realtors® Political Affairs Committee.

He has a long history with the Intermountain Regional Multiple Listing System (IMLS) too. He was first elected to the “Intermountain Regional Multiple Listing Service” (IMLS) board of directors in 1993. In his years of service he's served as chairman of the multiple listing service board twice. His keen interest in technology related to the real estate industry led to his appointment by the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) to a special task force on national internet marketing of real estate.

He's also served as president of the Broker's Council of Idaho (a real estate marketing association for non-franchised offices) with over 35 brokerages and affiliate members.

On the community level, since becoming a Realtor®, Scott has annually worked on “Paint The Town” & "Rake Up Boise" (community volunteer programs for older & fixed-income homeowners who can’t afford to maintain their homes as they’d like to). His wife and children have joined him as well.

Busy as he is, Scott still found time to be active with his children's school and their active sports programs and to keep up with his son's college and business career.

For "fun time" he and his family enjoy time at their family cabin in the resort town of McCall (2 hrs North of Boise) where they snow ski at Brundage Mountain in the winter and surf on picturesque Payette Lake in the summer. Being familiar with that area first hand, he's helped many clients locate a "second home" in McCall.

Scott's many years of experience in real estate provides him with an extensive knowledge of not only the current market conditions but the "history" of the real estate market that many licensees with less experience do not possess. This experience also has added to his negoiating success. A definite benefit to both buyers and sellers and why he enjoys referrals from his current and former clients, plus other "out of area" real estate agents he's made contacts with.
